My major focus of research involves outcomes of catheter ablation in patients with Atrial fibrillation, scar characterization in patients with ventricular tachycardia and comparison of ischemic and non ischemic subsets of cardiomyopathies. As an additional research

I have been actively involved in following the literature in the field of Novel Oral Anticoagulants (NOACs). Since the beginning of residency in Internal Medicine, I have been actively involved in publishing multiple systematic reviews in the field of stroke prophylaxis for patients with atrial fibrillation.

Voluntary role as a Primary Care Physician actively involved in providing outpatient services to the underserved patient population in Providence, Rhode Island. As part of my work here, I devoted 10 hours every month providing clinical services and patient education to the uninsured patients in Providence.
